p: purl
tbl: through back loop
tog: together
C4F

M1R (RIGHT SLANTED KNIT INCREASE)
From the back, lift the horizontal strand between the two stitches with the left needle and knit through the front

GERMAN SHORT ROWS (GSR)
Turn work and slip st onto right needle with yarn in front. Tug the yarn up and over the needle. This creates a
double stitch. Continue working the row as instructed in the pattern. On next row work the double sts together
as either k2tog or p2tog depending on what the stitches indi¬cate.
BACKWARD LOOP CAST ON
Form a loop with the yarn, so the end attached to the skein of yarn is in front of the end attached to the sts
on the needle, insert the right needle through the front of the loop and pull tight so the loop becomes a stitch
around the needle. Repeat until you have the desired number of stitches.
WORKFLOW
The jumper is worked topdown in the round. The yoke is worked with short rows to accommodate a better fit.
When all increases round shoulders are made, increases are worked on sleeve cup, finally yoke is finished with
